Interracial Dating

Interracial dating is on the rise right now and thats amazing. It is so nice to see so many couples starting to date and even marry outside of their race. =) I love it. Back in the day it was frowned upon to date outside of your race and even now there are some parents and grandparents who still dont like their children and grandchildren to date a white person, or a black person or an asian or hispanic. As for me, my parents always told me as long as i was happy, the girl's color didnt matter. So ive always dated outside of my race. and its been great! From white girls to Asian girls, i dont regret it at all. There is so much that u learn from dating interracially and so much that they learn about you. So here's my advice, if you are curious, just try it and see how it goes. You are either going to enjoy it or not. but its better to try and know for sure than sit back and wonder. =) <3

My poem: "Im Afraid"

I’m afraid

Not of falling in quicksand and dying

But of falling in love with you and being tortured all of my life

Because u will never be mine.

I’m afraid

Not of looking you in the eyes everyday and telling you I love you

But of closing my eyes every night, dreaming of you

Only to wake up and realize that it will never be a reality

I’m afraid

Not of proposing to you and face a possible rejection

But to watch you go down the aisle 7 years from now

 And marry a man that isn’t me.

I’m afraid

Not of growing old with you in the near future

But to be young in the present

And not have you all to myself

It’s just ironic that

Before I finished this poem,

I received a text from u that says

“Don’t be scared”

But I’m afraid to reply……..
